Fresno Police Officers Foundation
The Fresno Police Officers Foundation (FPOF), established in early 2023, enables officers to address community needs with extraordinary compassion through initiatives like the Caring Cops Program. The foundation not only helps officers make a tangible difference in individuals’ lives but also collaborates with city leaders and organizations on broader community projects, supported by successful fundraising efforts like the FPOF Poker Tournament.
At the heart of the Foundation is the Caring Cops Program, a flagship initiative. Fresno Police Officers, constantly on the frontline in our community, witness its most pressing needs firsthand, often wishing they could do more. The Foundation now empowers officers to address these needs, whether it’s replacing a stolen bike for a child, providing a holiday dinner for a senior citizen, or assisting a single parent by filling their gas tank. Through the Caring Cops Program, officers can go beyond their duty, forging genuine connections with the individuals and families they serve.
Yet, the Foundation’s impact extends beyond the needs encountered by our officers. Beyond the Caring Cops Program, the FPOF collaborates with city leadership, business owners, and other organizations to address individual situations or embark on community-wide projects that benefit our entire community.
