The Endorsement Process
For those unfamiliar with the process, here’s a quick overview. As we prepared for the 2024 election cycle, primary elections were held in March, where some candidates secured over 50% of the vote and won outright. Those who didn’t will face a runoff in the November general election.
While it’s not necessary for our members to follow every political detail, it’s important to know which candidates the FPOA supports and which ones stand behind our officers. This is just a glimpse of the individuals we are backing in the 2024 election, reflecting our ongoing efforts to support those who advocate for law enforcement.
