Application Process

In May 2027, the FPOA will be awarding scholarships ranging from $300 to $3,000 to as many deserving candidates as possible. The number of scholarships awarded and the amounts will be based on the quality of applications. The FPOA Scholarship Program is a competitive process. As such, the Scholarship Committee will consider scholastic achievement, school activities and community involvement/service in deciding which applicants will receive the awards. Applicants are encouraged, therefore, to be thorough in describing their scholastic, extracurricular and community activities in the space provided on the application.

The completed application form and transcripts must be completed no later than 4 PM, FRIDAY, APRIL 9, 2027. Please note, in the event of a tie in scoring, the individual who turns in their completed application first will receive preference. Applicants will be notified regarding the awarding of scholarships, by email, no later than May 21, 2027.
